The West region was a good showdown. Several players could not hold
on to qualify as we were only taking 15 to the final. Leslie Jahner
followed up her strong showing in league, qualifying at 2 different sites
and taking 2nd in this regional contest to Brian Sollie.
There were some big upsets as several scoring leaders were
knocked out in this tournament, including Kevin Selby, who was the highest
scoring qualifier in the field. |
