FPN Poker Pro Champ Cashes in Big
FPN Poker Pro Champion Brandon Dosch from the Bowler in Fargo, ND played in his first of five tournaments throughout the year and made the best of it. Brandon played in the Bellagio's annual five diamond classic. There were a total of 246 players that entered. Brandon the new face of FPN after winning the FPN Poker Pro National Championship the day before, made one heck of a run at taking it down. He made it to day two with the field at only 16 left, on day two he grinded all the way to fourth place taking home over $16,000 in cash! He played side by side many poker pro's including being seated next to Barry Greenstein. We can't wait to see what he is able to do with his other four buy-ins throughout the year.

Congratulations to Brandon Dosch of Fargo (plays at The Bowler) for winning the $10,000 grand prize at the FPN Poker Pro National Final today. Brandon won $1,000 cash instantly and will compete in five different tournament buy-ins throughout the year. Brandon outlasted a tough field of 75 qualifiers from around the country. For his accomplishment, Brandon has earned several buy-ins in 2012 and the first challenge is playing tomorrow's $1,000 buy-in event at the Bellagio in the Five Diamond Classic. Congrats and good luck!
On a beautiful day in North Dakota on Saturday where most North Dakotans are out finishing up the crops or hunting 126 players took some time out of their busy schedule to see who the next 11 North Dakota State Champions were going to be in this Spring/Summer Poker Pro promotion. The venue was the Bismarck VFW in the middle of the state, players from all corners of the state showed up to test their luck at qualifying for the National Championship in Las Vegas.
At the SD State Championship Chad Kopplin (far right) from Starters in Redfield had one heck of a swing. The tournament went for over an hour and a half before we even had our first all in and a call. Chad Kopplin was the first player in the tournament at risk. He was down to 2,100 in chips and was holding K-Q against pocket jacks. The window card was a jack putting Chad in a huge hole. The turn brought some help with a ace giving him four outs. Chad had his jacket on and was three steps away from the table when the 10 of spades popped giving him a straight. With the winning hand Chad was not the first player eliminated, but still was in a huge hole doubling up for less then half his starting stack.
